Ok, so CJ and I had a delightful 8-month anniversary this past Sunday, September 11th. We went to Navy Pier, ate at Bubba Gump's for lunch, took a ride on the ferris wheel, and then walked to the end of the pier (while stopping to snap several pictures). God blessed us with a beautiful day to enjoy our time together. I look forward to what God has in store for our future?!?
Back to work yesterday...although the "honeymoon period" has been way over with my students, I still feel blessed by the amount of well-behaved students God has placed in my room this year. I am up to 27 students (as of today), and I would say 20 of them are extremely well-behaved, which is much more than I got last year. My kids have been working on their AIDS research report; they are doing a fabulous job! Tomorrow night is Open House, where the parents (and students) come to meet me, see their child's classroom, and are welcomed back to a new school year. I am quite excited because I am going to have a guest visitor at Open House...my dear CJ. He asked if he could come...so of course I said yes! :)
Well, I'm signing off for now. It's about time for bed soon. 5:15 a.m. comes very quickly in the morning...I must go get sleep! Goodnight all! Much Love!
