So CJ and I did a little engagement ring shopping on Saturday afternoon!!! I must say, it was quite thrilling to get to this stage in my life. Our visit to the jewelry store turned out to be quite the unexpected blessing. To make a long story short, CJ found out that he has a distant cousin (and distant cousin's wife) that work at the jewelry store we went to. CJ and I now get the "family discount" on whatever purchases we make. How awesome is that?!? God is definitely good to us.
We eyed many rings...and I fell in love with two of them (one my choice; one CJ's choice). Because I want to be completely surprised, I told CJ he will be the one to pick between the two. Both are gorgeous rings that I would be honored to wear! CJ also picked out a wedding band that he likes for himself.
So now all that's left is saving up for the ring and proposing to me...and of course my answer will be YES!!! I just wanted to share my good news with everyone. And no, the ring pictured here is not one of the two rings that I fell in love with at the jewelry store...I'm just using this picture as an illustration to my blog. :)
