I've been under the weather since late Saturday evening. :( I haven't been to work yet this week, which is very unusual for me. I really don't like missing work, but I've had zero energy, and until today, every single muscle in my entire body ached. I've done a lot of praying, went to the doctor, and am feeling somewhat better...enough to return to work tomorrow. I'm sure my kids miss me a lot. :) CJ's done a great job "taking care" of me...he's a wonderful care-giver. God knew I'd need someone good to replace my Mom, now that she lives 530 miles away from me, so that is one of the many reasons why He sent me CJ. Thanks babe, for all that you've done for me the past few days. You're the greatest husband...I love you so very much!!!
Olivet's Doctoral meeting was this past Thursday...and I went. Attending the meeting just increased my desire that much more. I kept fantasizing throughout the entire meeting that the people conducting the meeting would announce a "free tuition voucher" under someone's chair, and that lucky someone would be ME!!! But, no such luck. :( There will be no free tuition to anyone...they want all of their money (and it's A LOT)!!! For the mean time, I'm praying that God will take away my desire to pursue this avenue. I believe that I will one day obtain a doctoral degree, but I don't think God's leading me in that direction just yet. That doesn't mean I don't want to do it...it's just not God's timing. So, I'll probably look into obtaining a 2nd master's degree which will cost A LOT LESS money. Hopefully I can enroll in my 2nd master's program by next fall. We'll see...
Tomorrow is my half-birthday...or as my Mom and I like to call it, my "Hap Bir!" :) I'll be 26 1/2...geez! People always make fun of me for making such a big deal over my half birthday, but hey, if you had a Mom that sent you money for your Hap Bir, you'd make a big deal about it too. CJ was one of those people...until Mom sent him money earlier this month for his Hap Bir...now he thinks it's cool. haha
Well, as I wrap this up...be sure to check out my video/music montage from today's earlier blog entry. The song I used, "So High" by John Legend, is the song that CJ and I had our first dance to at our wedding...as most of you will remember. :) Good night...and God bless!
