A little "housework..."

~These pictures and sconces now hang above our bed~

~Our favorite wedding picture of moi~

~Our favorite wedding picture of the handsome groom~

~Our "Wall of Fire;" adjacent to the wall our bed is on.
I have filled it with red, black, and white candles...
my favorite colors to decorate with.~

Well, CJ's favorite thing to do on his weekends is certainly not hanging things up on the wall, but he did a fabulous job! I appreciate his efforts and willingness to please me when I want something hung up. Thanks babe...you're the super-best! :)

My Current Read...

I am currently reading "The Lights of Tenth Street," and WOW, it's powerful! I first became a fan of Shaunti Feldhahn quite awhile ago when I read her book "For Women Only." I loved the way she wrote a Christian non-fiction book about the way men think, feel, and view life, and then after doing a little research, I found out that she also wrote fiction books. I read the prologue for this book on amazon.com and immediately became interested. This book deals with deep issues that some people in the Church face, unfortunately. It also deals with a lot of spiritual warfare. I highly recommend that you go to www.amazon.com , read the prologue, and get the book (or ask me to borrow it when I'm done). She also wrote another fiction book, "The Veritas Conflict," which I'll be reading next.

Bulls vs. Suns Game

~#13...Steve Nash...my favorite player~

~The Bulls shooting around~

Well, it was a very close game, and I was getting quite ancy towards the end, but my team pulled themselves together and beat the Bulls, 97-96 in the last five seconds of the game. I was cheering rather loudly, but my cheering got drowned out by everyone else's boos. Oh well...it was a fun time, none the less.

Happy New Year...

Happy New Year everyone!!! CJ and I just arrived back home this evening from visiting with my family in Tennessee for the past eight days. We had such a nice, relaxing time. The visit went by quickly, but we truly enjoyed every minute there. Since arriving home, I've been trying to do way too many things at once. Let's see...so far I've tried putting away as many things from our trip as possible (I cannot stand clutter), watch a rented movie with CJ, order in pizza (and eat it), check my e-mail, balance my checkbook, update my blog (currently doing), and order my digital prints online. Whew! Somehow I don't think my next week off of work is going to be as relaxing as the first week. I have already made myself a list a mile long of things I want to get done by the time I go back to work on January 8th...I guess I'll just take one day at a time and see what happens. Maybe one of my "New Year's Resolutions" can be to loosen up a bit and not have to get so many things done in a short time frame. But then again, what fun would that be?? I've never been much for resolutions anyhow.

CJ and I decided to stay in and ring in the new year together. We haven't had any alone time in over a week (not that we're complaining...it's been pure fun being spoiled by my family)...but it's nice to just be the two of us again at home. He's playing video games in his new "video game rocker chair." Pictures are coming soon...maybe even tonight...
