As the above pictures clearly show, I've been busy packing! CJ and I are 18 days away from buying and moving into our first home!!! I am an extremely neat and organized person, so having these boxes everywhere is nearly driving me crazy! But I keep the prize in mind...I know it'll all be worth it when we finally get to move in less than three weeks. Time is ticking away...we're way ahead of schedule with our mortgage lenders, so that's good! I try to get a little packing done each week so that I'm not stressing myself out the last week. The last day of teaching summer school will be the day before we close on our place, so the timing couldn't be better! Last year summer school ended three days before my wedding...I like keeping myself busy up until the end, can't you tell??

we are looking forward to seeing the new place. congrats! we remember how it felt to buy our first home. now, we too are looking for a new house. somewhere close to the Metra train. We must now also sell ours. Oh the joys of home ownership...
