No Title Tuesday...

*CJ recently taught Trin how to put her hands in her pockets...now she must make sure her hands are snuggled warm in her pockets each time her coat goes on. :) She's modeling (with her smile and pigtails) below...

*We (or should I say CJ, with my sister's help for a day as well) have been painting since late last week! Having lived here for just under 2.5 years and staring at stark white walls the entire time (with the exception of Trin's strawberry/chocolate swirled room), we were both ready for a change. After much deliberation over paint colors at Lowes recently, we agreed to Smoked Oyster in the living room, dining room, kitchen, and hallways. CJ reluctantly agreed to my idea of painting the partition wall that separates the living room from the kitchen a different color, so we went with Sandalwood. We then chose Lush Sage for the bathroom, Blue Twilight for our bedroom, and Relaxed Navy for our bathroom. CJ still has our bathroom and bedroom left to paint, but everything else is done. The pictures below don't accurately depict the true colors, but it's better than nothing for now...

*The guest bathroom (Lush Sage...a green color)...

*We also decided to finally upgrade from the $99 KMart table and chairs that I purchased back in 2001 when I first moved out on my own. It served its purpose for 8 years, and we were definitely ready for a new, modern table and chairs (that seated more than 4)...

*I will take more pictures in the daylight (maybe the color will be clearer), and as soon as CJ paints our bathroom and bedroom, I'll take pictures of that as well.

NICE!! Great job of painting, CJ (and Lori and Shannon)... sure "warms" up the place, doesn't it? I know you're excited and happy (to be almost done).

Also, please tell Triniti to slow down in her maturing process... those pictures of her make her look like she's 2-1/2 and Gram needs her to "stay baby" for awhile longer =) xo

Very nice. It is so exciting to get your house painted. We also were in our house two years and Scott just finished painting it. I love seeing color on the walls vs. just white. It just feels so warm.

Very nice! Love the new table and chairs! As it stands Annika's room is the only room we have repainted since moving in. Wonder when the rest will get done?

Can't wait to see the rest of the house when its done!
