~Does it get any more girly than this?~

~Here is the diaper changing organizer that we registered
for being put to good use already. When I opened the only
pack of diapers I have for her, I was in awe of how tiny
they were. I ran to show CJ and asked, "Can you imagine
someone's tooshie being this tiny?" haha
On to a more serious note...I have a prayer request for all of you! Last Friday while we were in Tennessee, my sister and I were enjoying a lunch out together when a torrential downpour began. Because my sister was on a lunch break, we couldn't just sit and wait it out...we had to make a run for it. (*Note to self...do not EVER run again when 6 months pregnant!!!) Anyway, a little too late for that. I sort of ran (not at full speed...I am, afterall, 6 months pregnant) to the car to avoid getting soaked. A few hours later that day, I started experiencing sore ribs on my left side. The pain wasn't severe, so I dismissed it and assumed it was Triniti playing soccer underneath my ribs. By the time our baby shower ended on Friday evening, I was in quite a bit of pain. Having totally forgotten about my "run" earlier in the day, we all assumed my muscles were sore because I've been coughing non-stop for 3-4 weeks.
This morning while CJ and I were picking out Triniti's mattress, I was coughing once again and felt something pop on my left side. The pop caused horrendous pain, and I was struggling to breathe. There I was, crying inside Baby Depot, when I had waited so long to go pick out her mattress. I was so mad! And poor CJ...he felt so helpless. We quickly narrowed down our choices, paid for the mattress, and went home. The pain kept getting worse, and it was affecting my deep breathing. We finally decided to go to Urgent Care.
The diagnosis? I have either bruised my ribs or strained my muscles. The doctor at Urgent Care wrote me a prescription, but I am very hesitant about taking medications while pregnant. So I'm going to wait until I talk to my OB tomorrow to make sure the prescription is safe, especially now that I am in my 3rd trimester. I have just been trying to rest all afternoon and use my heating pad on and off. Please pray that my ribs/muscles heal very quickly. I have so much that I want to get done while I am still on Christmas break this week. The doctor today said that it could take 4-6 weeks to completely heal, but I know God doesn't take that long. CJ and I are believing for healing asap!!! We would certainly appreciate your prayers as well. Thank you!!

Ugh. That doesn't sound fun at all. You can also give Tish a call to get her opinion on analgesics, and other pain medication.
Hey Lori! It sounds like you are doing pretty good and had a wonderful Christmas too! I LOVE Triniti's bedding set...it's beautiful! Not too much longer until she'll be all cozy in it!
