And here is Christmas Day at my Parents' house...
~Our 3rd Christmas together!~
~Moomy wanted a rocking chair pad for her 30-year-old
rocking chair so that she can rock Triniti comfortably
in the future.~
~Although difficult to see, CJ had a recent picture of us
engraved on a necklace for me...how thoughtful!~
~The long-awaited, authentic Josh Howard
jersey...CJ was rather excited about this gift.~
~Dad and his love for Harley's! Now he can put together
a puzzle of one. CJ picked this gift out for Dad.~
~Are we surprised that CJ is getting a lot of basketball-
related stuff?~
~The awesome doll cradle that my Dad hand-crafted on his
own. This, of course, is for all of Triniti's future dolls. My Mom
made the little blanket and pillow inside.~
~More basketball stuff. I got CJ a pair of Jordan's, but
we ended up returning them yesterday for the new
Lebron's!~
~My sister and her new Crate & Barrel punch bowl set.~
~My sister's cake business is named 'layers.' My Mom made
this apron for her.~
Once again, we were very blessed on this Christmas. It was so nice to get away for 8 days and spend time with my family. My most favorite gift, not pictured here, was a personalized gift from CJ. Since he raps, I've been begging him for nearly 3 years to write me a rap. Recently, I put it out of my mind and figured he'd do it in his own timing. He surprised me this Christmas with, not only a written rap, but a recorded rap song to me! Of course the tears were flowing while I followed along with the words while listening to his voice on the cd. Thanks to our friend, Ted, CJ was able to record the song on a cd a couple of weeks ago. It was very touching, and by far, the best Christmas gift. It truly was priceless! Thanks again Babe...you are the best! I love you so much!!
