Tender Tennessee Christmas...

*We just arrived home yesterday afternoon after spending the past week in Tennessee with my parents and sister. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I am very excited to announce that Triniti learned how to (verbally) spell her name towards the end of the week!!! Maybe she'll learn how to read on our next trip. ;)

*A family that lives near my family sets up their front yard for children each Christmas season, complete with a train and Santa. My sister thought it would be cute to take Trin. She was the smallest passenger on the train ride, but she rode it like a champ! She just had to make sure she could see us at all times. :) We didn't get to see Santa, but the train ride was adorable and so worth it!

*Christmas Eve dinner at Auntie Shanny's...

*Trini and her Pappaw...

*Santa?!?

*Christmas Day at my parents'...

*This is my Mom's 50-year-old Teddy Bear below that Trin is loving on...

*Trin got a babydoll (not the one pictured below, as that one is my Mom's) and a stroller for her babydoll...

*Whoever says "Money doesn't grow on trees" apparently has never been to my parents' back yard in eastern Tennessee. :) My parents gave CJ and me money towards our new dining room table for Christmas...this was one unique gift for sure!!!

I checked the money tree just yesterday, and I'm pretty sure I see little "buds" popping back out on it. Time will tell, won't it? It sure would be nice if it bloomed several times a year =)
