Triniti's Early Christmas @ Home...
*As stated in yesterday's post, Triniti opened up all of her Christmas presents from CJ and me today...5 days early. There aren't too many pictures of her with the gifts, as we were videotaping most of the time. But you can still see how well she did for her first Christmas with Dad and Mom...

Want to win a FREE pair of adorable shoes for your child?
If you haven't checked out my friend Clair's "Mummy Deals" website, YOU MUST GO CHECK IT OUT NOW!!! With the way the economy is, we're all feeling it to some capacity. Clair is a godsend...she created a website earlier this year to help everyone out there save lots of money in very easy ways.
Anyway, she is running a contest through this Sunday evening. Go here, pick out your favorite pair of shoes from the "Smaller" or "See Kai Run" sections that you would love to see on your child's feet, and then leave a comment on Clair's post to let her know the name of the shoes you like. She will be choosing a winner this Sunday night.
Best of luck to everyone!!!

Snow Day or Ice Day???
Well, against my wishes, school was cancelled today! The early bird that I am, I was once again already on my way to work when I received the phone call. It's funny...I was purposely moved to the TOP of the phone tree so that I could be notified of a school cancellation before I left for work. No such luck! I wasn't too far though...I had just picked up my Dunkin Donuts coconut coffee and was getting ready to head back to Route 30 for the drive ahead of me.
So today's school cancellation has me wondering...is it a snow day or an ice day?? I guess that would depend on where one lives. I'm assuming since I work in Illinois, my school was cancelled due to massive amounts of snow. However, over here in Northwest Indiana where I live didn't receive snow at all...just massive amounts of ice! It took CJ about 30 minutes to chip the ice off of his car this morning (sorry babe)!!!
Now that I'm back home and got to see Triniti's precious smile when I went in to get her at 7:15 this morning, having a snow/ice day is well worth it! I explained to her with great enthusiasm that she gets me for the next 17 days!!!!!!! Why she wouldn't be excited about that one is beyond me. ;) So my Christmas Break has officially begun...woo hoo!!!
CJ and I are letting Triniti have her Christmas 5 days early...she will open up her mounds of presents at some point tomorrow...then we leave around 2 in the morning on Sunday for Tennessee for a week. I'll try to post pictures of Triniti's first Christmas at home tomorrow before we leave. She will get Christmas this year about 5 or 6 times...geesh! What a blessed little girl she is...and she doesn't even realize what's going on!
Have a wonderful day everyone...and for those of you that had to go to work today...like my dear hubby...be safe!

Triniti @ 9 Months...Finally!!!
*It is completely unlike me to not update quickly after Triniti turns a new month old...but this has been one crazy, hectic week. But, better late than never, right?? Trin turned 9 months old this past Monday...AND I have some very, very, very, very, very exciting news to share with everyone...
*If you remember reading the post I wrote when Triniti turned 8 months, in it I said that I was convinced that by the time Triniti turned 9 months old she would be doing two things. Do you remember what those two things were??? Well, let me just say that she barely made it in time, but she made it. Last Sunday night we were at the Pals' house having Home Group. This was Triniti's very last night as an 8-month old. What did I find her doing?? CRAWLING for the very first time!!!!!!!!!!! Wait...it gets better...a little while later we were eating dinner when I heard my Princess belt out MaMaMaMa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*So for some strange reason, if you haven't figured out the two things that I was convinced Triniti would do by 9 months, read the above paragraph again. :) So yes, The Princess is now crawling and saying MaMa. This is all the Christmas present I need. :)

*Check out the video below of Triniti CRAWLING!!!

Triniti's 9-Month Wellness Visit...
I promise to post an updated picture of Triniti next to her jungle animal ring, but she doesn't officially turn 9 months old until Monday. So for now, you can receive an update from her latest Wellness visit...
*Triniti gained a whopping 10 ounces in the past 3 months!!! She went from the 75th percentile at 6 months to the 40th percentile at 9 months. She's 18 pounds even.
*Triniti grew 1.5 inches...she again went down from the 25th to 20th percentile in height. She's 26.5 inches tall.
*Triniti has a total of 5 teeth (2 on the top and 3 on the bottom), and more are trying to come in.
*Triniti had to get one make-up vaccine that the doctor was out of last time...she barely even whimpered...I was so impressed with her strength this time! She also got tested for anemia...she is completely fine!
I'll post more...along with a picture...next week.
